In vivo synergistic tumor therapies based on copper sulfide photothermal therapeutic nanoplatforms

چکیده

Tumor cells may be eliminated by increasing their temperature. This is achieved via photothermal therapy (PTT) penetrating the tumor tissue with near-infrared light and converting energy into heat using agents. Copper sulfide nanoparticles (CuS NPs) are commonly used as PTAs in PTT. In this review, we aimed to discuss synergism between PTT CuS NPs other therapies such chemotherapy, radiotherapy, dynamic (photodynamic, chemodynamic, sonodynamic therapy), immunotherapy, gene therapy, gas magnetic hyperthermia. Furthermore, summarized results obtained a combination of two treatments at least therapies, one included therapies. Finally, benefits drawbacks various therapeutic options state art CuS-based provided future directions for

Multifunctional WS2 @Poly(ethylene imine) Nanoplatforms for Imaging Guided Gene-Photothermal Synergistic Therapy of Cancer.

The combination of photothermal therapy (PTT) with gene therapy (GT) to improve PTT efficiency and thus eliminate cancer cells under mild hyperthermia is highly needed. Herein, multifunctional WS2 @poly(ethylene imine) (WS2 @PEI) nanoplatform has been designed and constructed for gene-photothermal synergistic therapy of tumors at mild condition. After a surface modification of WS2 with a positi...

The synergistic effect of folate and RGD dual ligand of nanographene oxide on tumor targeting and photothermal therapy in vivo.

Effective delivery of nanoparticles to the target site is necessary for successful biomedical applications. Inefficient targeting is a major concern for nanomedicines in cancer therapy. Conjugation of multiple targeting ligands to the nanoparticle surface might further enhance the targeting efficiency by a co-operative effect of individual ligands. In this study, a dual ligand targeting nanogra...

Investigation of antimicrobial activity of photothermal therapeutic gold/copper sulfide core/shell nanoparticles to bacterial spores and cells

BACKGROUND Au/CuS core/shell nanoparticles (NPs) were designed as a new type of transducer agent for photothermal therapy (PTT), with attractive features of easy preparation, low cost and small size for targeting. This paper studied for the first time the intrinsic antimicrobial activity of Au/CuS NPs to B. anthracis spores and cells in addition to its PTT effect. RESULTS It was found that Au...

4he Therapies Tumor Blockinassociated Protease Therapeutic )ntroduction

Great inroads have been made in defining the oncogenic pathways intrinsic to neoplastic cells and the mechanisms by which they are activated in tumors. Knowledge of these pathways provides numerous opportunities that are actively being pursued to develop targeted therapies for cancer. Complementary studies, focused on the non-transformed components of the tumor microenvironment (TME), have reve...

Microfluidic Synthesis and Biological Evaluation of Photothermal Biodegradable Copper Sulfide Nanoparticles

The continuous synthesis of biodegradable photothermal copper sulfide nanoparticles has been carried out with the aid of a microfluidic platform. A comparative physicochemical characterization of the resulting products from the microreactor and from a conventional batch reactor has been performed. The microreactor is able to operate in a continuous manner and with a 4-fold reduction in the synt...
